The catering department at Royal Lancaster Infirmary is looking to recruit a catering assistant for duties in their busy department.

You will be working for a department that is committed to the ongoing development of their staff.

You should have working knowledge of a busy food environment and ideally hold your Foundation food hygiene certificate, full training, and support will be given on induction.

Main duties will include working in various production areas, pan wash, pot wash, dining and service areas, serving patient meals on wards and maintaining their workplace in a clean and hygienic manner.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.

We are looking for a Patient Environment Assistant to join our team here at Furness General Hospital.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant for our night shift Team ,they work on a Four week rota including weekends .You should be hard working, punctual and able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. The aim of the role is to support the clinical teams in maintaining the optimum environment for our patients. The main duties are to support patient movement, removal and disposal of waste, handling of medical gases and collection.

Cleaning will also be a requirement for this role.

A Full Manual Driving Licence is required for this role .

Previous experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

POST DETAILS: 37.5 hours on a night shift rota .

We are looking to recruit to our Patient Environment Team here at Westmorland General Hospital.

You should be hard working, punctual and able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.

Main duties include supporting wards with patient movement, removal and disposal of waste, handling of medical gasses, etc.

Previous experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

37.5 hours per week worked over a 7-day rota which will include week-end working.

Full current UK driving Licence

We are looking to recruit two suitable individuals to work part-time (average 18.75 hrs per week) and occasional additional leave cover in support of the Car Park Patrol Department on the Royal Lancaster Infirmary site. The hours of cover are 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Hours of cover / shifts are 0630 to 1500hrs and 1300 to 2200hrs.

You will be required to patrol the hospital car parks to ensure compliance with the Trust Car Park Policy in a firm but sympathetic manner and, act as a deterrent to theft and vandalism across the site.

You will also be expected to support arrangements in providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff. These will include liaison with other wards and departments, and external agencies.

You will be physically fit, have good verbal communication skills, a flexible manner and be able to work both as part of a team and using your own initiative.

Appropriate training and uniform is provided.
