There are vacancies within the accredited Sterile Services Department at Royal Lancaster Infirmary for Sterile Services Technicians working Saturday and Sunday 7.5 hours per day 2 posts and 1 post 30 hours Monday to Friday 16:00 – 21:00

You will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments, sterile procedure packs and Endoscopes for University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, the PCT and the community for which it serves.

Experience of working in accredited Sterile Services unit is preferable. However training will be offered to right candidate.

You must have a full clean driving license and able to drive Transit Luton van.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.

The Patient Environmental Services are looking to recruit an individual to work as part of the Patient Environmental team within the Facilities Department.

Your duties will involve cleaning ward areas, clinic rooms, corridors, entrances, admin areas, toilets

You must be able to work alone or as part of a team, and able to work flexible hours.

Basic Knowledge of cleaning standards and previous experience of working within a domestic environment is essential. Previous experience of working in a hospital environment and of using mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment is desirable and would be advantageous.

BICSc Training and/or NVQ in support services are desirable

Full training will be provided on commencement in post, together with a Uniform.

You will support the services to ensure a safe efficient and effective Facilities service to all patients, staff and visitors throughout the Trust.
